Fab Fit Fun – Editor’s Box Review – March 2024
Updated by Meredith Raico
Fab Fit Fun is a quarterly/seasonal subscription featuring full-size beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness products. Each box is priced at $49.99 and is valued at over $225 (what an insane deal!) Boxes ship out 7-10 business days after billing (most recent schedule as of March 2017 shown below).
Also, uh, can we just talk about how cute Fab Fit Fun Editor’s Box is? I mean, the design on the box itself is adorable – shoutout to the Fab Fit Fun team for killing the packaging game.
I received the Editor’s Box, which is what subscribers receive if they subscribe between seasons and a seasonal box has sold out. Though the items may vary box-to-box, there are always a number of core items that each subscriber is guaranteed to receive. Keep reading to see what was inside mine!
Item #1: O.R.G. Skincare Mineral Peel Face (Retail Value $44.00)
The first all-natural mineral enzyme peel, this product is a godsend for me. I have combination skin (oily in T-zone, normal on cheeks) that is prone to breakouts in my T-zone. You spray it on your face, and gently massage your skin in circular motions. Little balls of what I assume is dead skin + dirt gradually appear, which is equal parts gross, satisfying, and fascinating. I love that I’m able to see the product working! After rinsing off my face, my skin is left glowing, soft, and radiant. Bless the K-Beauty gods and goddesses and O.R.G for this one. I’m gonna have to find a way to order this product individually, because this is HG (holy grail) status for me.
Item #2: Zoya Nail Polish in “Rue” (Retail Value $10.00)
Ok, not gonna lie, I totally thought of the Hunger Games when I read the color name. This particular shade of nail polish is a muted mauvey-pinky-nude. Hard to describe exactly, but this shade flatters any skin tone! I can see this being my go-to everyday nail polish shade. Whether you’re a corporate gal, elementary school teacher, or a creative type – this color works for any situation, any where.
Item #3: ModCloth Loch and Key Plaid Blanket Scarf (Retail Value $34.99)
Ooooohhh yassss I love oversized scarves. Lightweight and soft, this scarf features a lovely classic multi-color plaid print with the main colors of cream, red, green and mustard running throughout. Not only can this be used as a traditional scarf, you can also wear it as a shawl or wrap, or even as a light picnic blanket! I love its versatility.
Item #4: FabFitFun Coloring Book & Pencils (Retail Value $14.00)
To me, coloring is one of the most therapeutic, relaxing activities, and this coloring book features images that support indie artists to color. Love the whole design of the coloring book, and I find the minimalistic wood design of the colored pencils to be so aesthetically pleasing. I plan on popping this in my travel bag for plane rides! Fab Fit Fun partnered with Pencils of Promise, a purpose organization founded in 2008 with the goal of increasing access to quality education for children in the developing world.
Item #5: The Created Co. To-Go Coffee Mug (Retail Value $19.00)
Ooh yes, a cute and functional insulated cup! This one is BPA free, sturdy, and printed with “Good Morning Gorgeous” in gold. I know I’ll be filling this with my hot beverage of choice and toting this around with me!
Item #6: Jook & Nona Necklace in “Love” (Retail Value $65.00)
For those who love minimalistic jewelry, this necklace fits just the bill! Featuring a 24k-plated gold rectangular tag printed with the word “LOVE” and a lobster clasp, this necklace is both cute and minimalistic. At 17.5″ long, this is perfect to layer with other necklaces (choker + long necklace combo, maybe?)
Item #7: Marrakesh Hair Oil (Retail Value $22.99)
Mmm, this blend of Argan and hemp oil smells SO nice. I love oils when it comes to haircare and skincare, and I know a lot of women are afraid of oils because they don’t want to get greasier, but that’s absolutely not the case here! After working the oil through my hair after a shower when it was still slightly damp, I found my hair was left feeling soft and silky and so luxurious. Apparently, it helps with frizz too, so for ladies who struggle with frizz or live in humid climates, this is a no-brainer product!
Item #8: Manna Kadar Lip Locked Priming Stain in Lucky (Retail Value $24.00)
This paraben-free product combines lip gloss, primer, and stain into one. A gorgeous shade of mauvey pink, this color is flattering and right on trend! It doesn’t settle into fine lines or accentuate any flakes – instead, it glides right over and is opaque upon one layer! I especially appreciate that this product isn’t sticky or goopy; it feels really nice on my lips. I can totally see myself layering this over a liquid lipstick to help with moisture and to give it a bit of extra “oomph”.
Item #9: Anderson Lilley Sicilian Tangerine Beach Butter Cream (Retail Value $24.00)
I love this stuff so much – not only is it moisturizing, but I smell like fresh citrus combined with bouquet of flowers mixed with vanilla. My elbows are perpetually as dry as the Sahara desert, so I can never get enough body creams, especially ones that smell as amazing as this one. Honestly, I would lick myself. I smell that good.
Verdict:
This Editor’s Box, valued at $257.98, absolutely exceeded my expectations. I love that each item was full-sized and introduced me to a variety of brands I wouldn’t have considered otherwise. Personal stars for me were the scarf, spray-on mineral peel, and the beach butter cream. Jam-packed full of goodies that I could actually see myself using, Fab Fit Fun ‘s Editor Box has me excited for what’s next!
