The Mother Goose Murders

The Valley Falls Museum has a new traveling exhibit entitled, "The Pharaohs of Egypt." While the exhibit has brought a lot of interest and visitors, it has also brought its share of trouble. Ever since the Egyptian exhibit arrived, the museum has had a series of accidents and mishaps that have led some to think the whole thing is cursed. The museum director, Hubert Henderson, has asked you to look into what is going on, and you happily take the job.

Magicians are known for making people disappear, but in most cases, a skilled master of illusion can also make them reappear with no harm done. The Magician has suddenly burst on to the scene in Valley Falls and has been making people disappear one day and then reappear the next day as pale, lifeless corpses. Perhaps you can perform a trick of your own, investigate the case, wave your hands wildly, and say the word, “Presto!” right before unveiling The Magician!

The Sherlock Conundrum

You have just received an exclusive invitation to The Scarlet Study, a members-only club dedicated to Sherlock Holmes. When you arrive, the doorman hands you a shoebox.  You open it, expecting a welcome gift of some sort.  What you are greeted with instead, is a severed foot with a note attached to it that says, “The Game.”  The game, in this case, is literally a foot and will lead you on an investigation that includes details from Sherlock Holmes’ most memorable cases.

Night at the Castle
