NO DIRT NECESSARY! Easy, Unique & Beginner Friendly!

See what the buzz is all about! Air Plant Hub has been highlighted by Architectural Digest as one of the top 10 online plant shops in the USA. Our plants have been featured in Ritz Carlton Hotels, Google Headquarters, UC Berkeley Botanical Gardens, NYU Plant Science Center and more.

Every month you, or a recipient, will receive an average of four nicely-sized, premium air plants; some months will also include accessories such as: holders, fertilizer, grapewood, & wire.
  • Each box includes detailed care instructions on a beautiful card that you can keep or use as a gift.
  • We are not a middleman plant provider - all of the air plants you will receive were grown right in our USDA inspected + certified Tillandsia greenhouse. We guarantee that they will arrive to you fresh and healthy.
  • Our plants are non-toxic and kid / pet safe. You can use our plants safely in terrariums or out in the open and can be handled without issue. There are no spikes or spines on air plants so they make a great gift for both young and old.
  • Air plants are VERY easy to care for. Just dip them in water once per week and keep them in a room with good light. Your air plants will reward you with beautiful blooms and offset pups that you can watch grow up to full size.
  • Our plants handle shipping like a boss! Because air plants do not have soil, they are used to being moved around and adapting to new areas. You will be impressed at how well these plants travel.

This box had beautiful assortment of air plants including: 1) Xerographica Thick Leaf, 1) Ionantha x Brachycaulos (Hybrid), and 1) Stricta X Leonamiana (Hybrid). All three of these amazing plants are what we consider to be "beginner friendly". They can thrive in a variety of environmental conditions and do well being shipped.

This box included the largest air plant we have ever put in one of our monthly boxes! If you wanted to try a big air plant, this box would would have been up your alley! The box included: 1) XL Secunda, 1) Medium Curly Slim (Hybrid), and 1) Medium Juncifolia. The Curly Slim in this box was particularly impressive due to its size and whimsical growing shape. The juncifolia (pine needle looking air plant) that was featured, works well for many displays.

Example Box #4

This box highlighted some of the more premium and rare air plant offerings, including: Stricta Iridescent, Funckiana, Caulescens, Recurvata Clump, and an XL Starburst. This was our most valuable box with a normal retail value of $35 so it was a significant discount over buying them direct from our site.

Example Box #5
Example Box #5

This box was a mix of hand-selected special plants from our greenhouse. This month was unique, because not everyone got the same thing. We looked for nicely shaped and colored plants from the greenhouse...basically if the air plant stuck out in a good way, we grabbed it for these boxes! At least one premium plant from the photo above was included in each box.

Example Box #6
Example Box #6

This was a fun box that included 3 geometric metal stands that were made to hold air plants in. We sent this box in December so if you decided to spread the Christmas cheer, you could have had great gifts for others. We included 3 random air plants with wider bases that fit the holders. All boxes included a beautiful color care cards with detailed air plant care instructions.
